No. 7 Service Flying Training School Display

at the Peppin Heritage Centre

Open Mon–Sat: 9am–4pm, Sun: 9am–2pm

One of the most significant displays focuses on the No. 7 Training School, which was based in Deniliquin during World War II. This display highlights the town’s vital contribution to Australia’s wartime efforts, sharing the story of the Royal Australian Air Force personnel who trained here and the impact their presence had on the local community. Through photographs, information panels, and historical artefacts, visitors gain an insight into this important chapter of Deniliquin’s past.
